Two leading independent medical technology companies have announced a strategic alliance to help large healthcare provider organizations better manage the vast and growing amounts of archived media.

D-Scope Systems offers D-Scope VIA 6.0, a state-of-the-art medical recording and integration software platform used by leading hospitals and was recently awarded a contract with the US military health system and the VA. Laurel Bridge provides DICOM data transformation and workflow expertise that enhances D-Scope’s ability to work across the imaging enterprise and helps manage disparate systems to centrally archive and easily populate clinical reports. Their first project together will be integration of medical video from the D-Scope powered Integrated Video and Image Sharing System (IVISS) with the DOD and VA electronic medical record systems and the DOD’s Enterprise Clinical Imaging Archive (ECIA).
